Seven Tips on Avoiding Being Late
Look at the time it will take to arrive, then add 10 to 15 minutes on to that expected arrival time.
Make sure your home has a lot of clocks that are easily visible.
Pretend that it is later than it really is. An alarm look can be set 10 to 15 minutes ahead of real time.
Don’t start tasks or activities before leaving the house. ie washing dishes
Bring along an item or two with the expectation you will be able to have a few minutes to relax upon arrival.
Always remember in your mind what it feels like to rush and arrive late.
Do any prep work the day before. ie make lunch, iron clothes, paperwork etc.
